Beginning Ceramics Classes
Get ready to get your hands muddy and your creativity flowing! In this fun class, kids will learn how to make their very own ceramic pieces using simple hand-building techniques like pinch pots, coil pots, slab construction, and adding cool textures to the surface. No experience is needed—just bring your imagination! All supplies are provided, so students can focus on building, shaping, and having fun while creating unique clay treasures to take home.
Weekly clay projects will be introduced and vary from functional mugs and bowls to whimsical fairy houses. An instructor will be there to guide and support each child through the making process. Students will also develop an understanding of the glazing process. In the final steps, kids will be able to watch their pieces come to life by adding colorful glaze to their creations.

Clay Handbuilding Workshop offers a great experience of working with clay with our own hands. Participants develop in depth knowledge and hands on experience on how to use different hand building techniques such as coil work, pinch pot and slab work to create beautiful hand build ceramic pieces. You will learn skills of joining, forming a shape, adding textures. Participants get to use various ceramic hand building tools and convert a piece of clay into the shape you like. All materials, tools and supplies will be given to use in the studio. You get to take home your very own handmade piece(s).
